For your readers who might have just lost the desire for an ultra with the idea of back to back long runs, please let me assure them that it can be done without back to backs. I often ran only 5 or 6 the day before my long run and that was enough for me. However, I often don't push myself as hard as you, Anna, and Andrea (a trait I'm looking to overcome). Also, I want to point out that back to backs are great training for ultras because it trains you to run on tired legs. Remember everyone, you have to find what works for you. :) Thanks for doing this series Jannine! I'm loving it!
